Refunds and Cancellation

Effective October 8, 2026

We want customers, not hostages. Cancelling is a couple of clicks, and if something about a charge feels wrong, we'll make it right.

Cancelling a subscription

Go to Account → Subscription → Manage billing. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can cancel, change plans, update your card, or download invoices. No email or call needed.

When you cancel, you won't be charged again. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Your chats and designs stay — nothing is deleted when you cancel.

The rAITrace desktop app keeps working until its last licence check expires (at most 14 days), then asks for a plan that includes it.

Refunds

We don't prorate automatically, but if you're unhappy for any reason, email nader.heidari@raioptics.com and we'll take care of you. For example, we'd refund in full if:

• you were just charged for a renewal you meant to cancel;
• you forgot to cancel and haven't used your paid features since;
• you tried a paid plan and it wasn't right for you.

And we'd give a partial refund or credit if:

• you forgot to cancel a while ago but kept using paid features — we'll look at your usage and work out something fair;
• the Services were down for a significant stretch, or we took days to answer you.

Everything else is case by case. Tell us what happened and we'll work it out.

Deleting your account

Account → Delete account deletes your account immediately: your chats, designs, Studio systems, usage history, and desktop sign-ins are removed from our database, any active subscription is cancelled without further charges, and your customer record is removed from Stripe. Copies in our database provider's backups expire within 30 days. Deleted content can't be recovered — download anything you want to keep first, from Account → Preferences → Export my data.

When we close accounts

We may close accounts that break our Terms — usually with notice, without it when needed to protect the Services or other users.
